About Laudium Cricket Club

Laudium Cricket Club is an association in the Pretoria Suburbs. We cater for cricket in all communities and ethnicity for junior and senior levels of cricket. We are affiliated with NORTHERN CRICKET UNION to serve and provide opportunities to all that are interested in playing the game of cricket.

We currently have four junior teams participating in the Northern’s Cricket League, the under 09, 11, 13 & 15. We are a non-profitable organisation aimed to encourage, organise and promote the development of high performance and games of cricket for all. We are a non-profit organisation aimed at encouraging, organising and promoting the development of high performances in the game of cricket, for all ages, genders and races.

Our History

Laudium Cricket’s history is best explained by Author, Ken Boland: History of Laudium Cricket Club. Although Laudium Cricket Club was apparently formed in 1998 through our inception into Northern Transvaal Cricket Union, Laudium Cricket can safely say there beginnings started in 1992 as per the article in the link.

Our Vision

To become a self-sustaining cricket club without relying on hand-outs, to progress beyond a development club towards being a world class cricket club and to produce Amateur, Titan and Protea quality, cricketers. To be the best area club in the Province, to bring the youth of the Laudium community together and let them develop their sporting talent and become responsible Adults.” To be a self-sufficient and self-sustaining cricket club which boasts a high quality indoor performance centre/academy, flood lights and gym.

Our Mission

Youth talent development

  • Developing youngsters from grass roots levels and nurturing them towards senior most levels of cricket.

Community development

  • Making the L.C.C. the central hub of the community. A safe haven in a crime riddled society.
  • Producing healthy, flourishing and contribute community members through sport.

Current Club Offerings

  • Group Coaching
    • This happens on a weekly basis from 15:30 pm to 18:00 pm for junior teams
    • This happens on a weekly basis from 16:00 pm to 18:00 pm for senior teams
    • Pre-season Group Coaching (July to September)
  • 1 on 1 Coaching
    • This function is available and costs are determined between parents/players and coaches but LCC can facilitate/negotiate
  • Cricket Nets
    • Available to paid club members
